Studies have shown that as many as 43,250 Americans will be diagnosed and 13,500 people will die yearly from oral cancer. Many succumb to this fate because they never visited a dentist on a regular basis. Our office conducts an oral cancer screening on every recall patient in our practice. That’s at lease twice per year. On any suspicious oral lesion, we then conduct many types of diagnostic tests for early detection, referral, and treatment.
